Description

As part of our ongoing effort to deliver indispensable content across modern channels, Dun & Bradstreet will be making the following updates to the Comprehensive Customised Data Product (CCDP): 1. UK and Ireland – shift of financial item “minority interest” from section “long term liability” to section “equity” to ensure consistency with other DNB markets 2. UK – financing events rollout via Companies House API What you need to know: Customers do not need to pay for any software upgrades to receive this functionality. These changes will automatically be incorporated into the EU B2B Gateway. Technical and other relevant contacts should be notified immediately of these changes though in case application updates are required. Specific details of these changes are as follows: 1. UK and Ireland – shift of financial item “minority interest” from section “long term liability” to section “equity” to ensure consistency with other DNB markets The shift affects multiple dependent financial items and ratios. Customers monitoring businesses in these countries should expect an increased number of monitoring notifications. Full details regarding all changes can be found in the following: a) The value for Minority Interest value will be sent in a new path …/BalanceSheet/DetailedLocalFormat/Liabilities/NonCurrentLiabilities/MinorityInterest (old) …/BalanceSheet/DetailedLocalFormat/Liabilities/Equity/MinorityInterest (new) b) Total Long Term Liabilities and Total Liability will decrease by the value of minority interests c) Net Worth, Total Equity and Tangible Net Worth will increase by the value of minority interests d) Values for some ratios will change (ShareholdersReturn, FixedAssetsToNetWorth, CurrentLiabilitiesToNetWorth) 2. UK – financing events rollout via Companies House API The UK Companies House is changing its data delivery mechanism from batch files to an API. This change is affecting how certain financing events are delivered to DNB for UK corporate companies. These changes affect the section RecordPayload/PublicFilings/MortgagesandCharges/MortgagesandChargesEntry/... …/ChargeHoldersInformation/ChargeHoldersInformationEntry/Name: Changes from upper case to mixed-case content. The name itself might also change due to a change in sorting in the API. …/AdditionalDetails/AdditionalDetailsEntry/DetailText: Changes from upper case to mixed-case content. …/ChargeAmount: will no longer contain digital places …/ChargeAmount/ISOCurrencyCode: Will remain empty going forward Customers monitoring businesses in the UK should expect an increased number of monitoring notifications. Actions you should take: If you are not a technical contact or are unsure about the potential impact on your systems, please forward this message to your internal IT specialists or your implementation partner. Please register on the Dun & Bradstreet Operational Status Dashboard (https://status.dnb.com/) for the EU B2B Gateway solution if you have not already done so.
